The Bloc-Repair-Kit is a project that was invented for Susak Expo 2016, a bi-annual art event that takes place on the remote Croatian island of Susak since 2006, initiated by artist Daniel Devlin.

The wooden blocks were distributed among the participants of the Expo and the inhabitants of Susak with the instruction to use them in a situation of a certain “emergency” and to send a photo of the situation to the artist. What emergency could actually mean was left up to the participants interpretation and the forms functioned as a tool to be used in an open, creative and experimental context.

The second stop of the Repair-Kit was Germany for the exhibition “tjurip” in Saarbrücken in September 2016, organized by graduate students of the Hochschule der Bildenden Künste Saar.
